If this is your desire, I would like to take you on a tour of those original teachings. Thanks to our God, and a few dedicated people, we have access via the internet to all those original teachings as they were published in the The Plain Truth, The Good News, and in Books, and Booklets.
Before we start, however, lets look at what has transpired over the last seventy years in order to reinforce our commitment to this walk.
LESSONS THAT WE CAN LEARN FROM HISTORY In the beginning, God created Lucifer in dazzling beauty and perfection. Sometime after that all the glorious physical creation was formed in comparable beauty and perfection. Lucifer became bitter and was renamed Satan. Then he turned all that perfection and beauty into selfishness, hatred, resentment, darkness and confusion. In 27 A.D., God called a small handfull of men and taught them His Truths through His Son......Truths, not errors! Within 40 years, Satan had seriously perverted those truths. By the turn of that century, the destruction was almost complete; there were only a few who still held to the truths that had been embraced by everyone at the beginning. Exactly 100 time cycles after the first calling, in 1927 A.D., God called Herbert Armstrong and taught him those same truths through that same Son.....Not all the truths at once, but truths, not error. Within 40 years, Satan had once again begun to seriously pervert those truths. Now, at the turn of the century, we have trouble finding anyone who still believes every truth placed in the church by it's Head, our Savior. What we see is the same selfish bitterness, confusion, and darkness that are Satan's hallmark. This site will document the original teaching, Our Savior's teaching, the faith which He commands us to embrace once again.
Everything that God creates is perfect until Satan perverts it through change. That is why we are admonished to return to the faith that was once delivered and entrusted to the saints. Not just back to 1986, or even to 1974, but all the way back to the time that each doctrine was first taught. You will be surprised to see how some truths were never fully embraced by the church even after they had been taught in the "Good News" or "Plain Truth" magazines.
